Roosevelt University Journalism Convergence: Reflections: "Faith is..."

ABOUT THE PROJECT

City of Flint, Michigan. Population: 100,000. City in crisis. Poisoned drinking water. Toxic lead. A state of national emergency.

On a cold day this past spring, a team of Roosevelt University student journalists climbed aboard a coach bus before dawn and departed from Roosevelt’s downtown campus to immerse themselves in the story of Flint over the course of two days. Their aim: To capture human stories. The faces of the poisoned.

What they discovered in the stories of those they met and interviewed—the faces, voices, their hope and also their tears—is presented here as written narratives, podcasts, videos, sound slideshows and more.
